Installing WordPress on your hosting requires the creation of a database. Is possible to use the Database Wizard

Access cPanel

Log in to your cPanel account.

Step 1: Create a Database

  • In the “Databases” section, click on “MySQL Database Wizard.”
  • Enter a name for your database and click “Next Step.”
  • Write down the database name for later.

Step 2: Create Database Users

  • Enter a username and a strong password.
  • Click “Create User.”
  • Write down the databas User and Password, will be needed during the installation.

Step 3: Assign User to Database

  • Choose the privileges you want to grant to the user. Select “All Privileges” for simplicity.
  • Click “Next Step.”

Step 4: After completing the task go back to the home page in cPanel. Make sure you have at hand the database name, user and password. Those will be needed after while running the installation wizard.
